Cyclic Corrosion Testing

MERL has environmental exposure capabilities which include cyclic corrosion
testing - using a cabinet from Ascott Analytical Equipment. The 1000 litre
floor-standing cabinet enables variable temperature, variable humidity
and salt spray to be applied to test samples and small structures. The
unit is linked to a PC to enable automatic control and data capture through
a software package designed at MERL. As well as complying with most current
cyclic corrosion test standards, the software enables specialised test
conditions to be programmed. |
